Is Dreamcatcher Safaris a tour operator?
We are an expedition house. We design and run our own journeys with our own guides and a close network of partners.
How big are the groups?
Group departures take up to 12 travellers. Every journey can also run privately.
How active do I need to be?
Each journey has a pace rating from Easy going to Full throttle, and each day explains what is involved.
Can you arrange gorilla permits?
Yes, as part of a booked journey. Permits are limited and sell out months ahead in peak season.
Is it safe?
We plan routes carefully, use licensed partners, keep a guide with you throughout and run a 24-hour support line.
Can you cater for dietary needs?
Yes. Tell us when you book. Vegetarian, vegan, halal and allergy needs are all manageable with notice.
How do payments work?
A 20 percent deposit secures your place. The balance is due 60 days before departure.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Insurance with medical evacuation cover is a condition of travel.
